This is my newest book and I am very, very proud of it. There is nothing more exciting and gratifying than cooking with kids, or watching (listening to) kids cooking.

You’re the Chef is filled with beautiful photographs and practical, delicious, around-the-clock recipes – from blueberry pancakes to perfect marinara. The chocolate chip cookie recipe is my absolute go-to, as is the crunchy granola.

Creating this book was the highlight of my year and my heart is in it.

Meat & Livestock Australia has published a number of incredibly beautiful books. The design, recipes and execution are impeccable, and after these shoots I am exhausted. And happy. Working with recipes from Australia always opens my eyes, and tastebuds, to the wonders of the world’s pantry and bounty.

This project for The Ritz-Carlton was built to be a gift to guests and was spearheaded by Marriner Marketing Communications. Designed by Claudia Barac-Roth,  “Classic Desserts Redefined” features amazing photographs by Renée Comet and equally amazing recipes from Ritz-Carlton pastry chefs.

Virginia Museum Of Fine Arts

In commemoration of its fiftieth anniversary, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Council created a beautiful cookbook. Happily for me, they brought the photography to Washington, DC where Renée Comet and I worked together on the images.

A chef filled with gusto, Steven Petusevsky brings bold, bright flavors, textures and techniques to all his cooking. Renee Comet's studio was filled with lively conversation, fabulous lunches and a wonderfully congenial collaboration when we gathered to create contemporary and inviting images for Vegetarian Cooking.

Books and books and books later, my portfolio is brimming with wonderful Time-Life projects, including the beautifully designed Healing Cookbook. Renee Comet’s photos alone will bring bounce to your step, even before you begin your cooking. Cakes mean celebration and a feeling of celebration infused the creation of Warren Brown's United Cakes of America. This book is packed with luscious images of cakes big and little, elaborate and simple. Baking and styling with Warren was a blast and a half.

Mount Vernon has been my beautiful neighbor for many years, so being the stylist for "Dining with the Washingtons" felt intimate and natural.

We worked on the grounds, in the house and in the studio, cooking with gorgeous produce from Mount Vernon's spectacular and authentic gardens. A true pleasure and honor!

Creating your own book, with your own name on the cover, is a thrilling experience. There is nothing as gratifying as pure autonomy and free use of imagination. Renee and I thought it up and made the pictures. I did the writing, including the story of my grandmother and her 14,000 pies. Rux Martin was our editor, and Chapters published “The Artful Pie”.

Aviva Goldfarb’s energy and happy outlook is channeled in her recipes, and I enjoyed bringing them to life on the page. Wildly popular, and for good reason, the Six O’Clock Scramble has upped the dinner game in countless homes. Tasty, practical, modern and , above all, approachably adventurous, Aviva’s cooking is terrific.
